Kids don't remember what you try to teach them. They remember what you are.

My eight year old daughter started taking piano lessons (virtually) from Kelley this past year and I have been so impressed with her progress. Kelley makes piano lessons fun but also knows how to motivate my daughter to practice and give her best effort. I also really appreciate that Kelley is able to conduct the lessons in Cantonese as this provides a wonderful language practice opportunity. We are excited to continue with Kelley next year!

Kelley has been the BEST piano teacher to my 2 young daughters. We live in another province and conduct lessons over Zoom and it's been working out great! The girls love their time with him. He is not only a gifted and phenomenal pianist, but he's also a really down to earth, kind, patient and positive instructor. He also breaks down concepts to make it easier to learn for the little ones or beginners. I would never hesitate to recommend Kelley!

Teacher Kelley has been teaching our two sons 10 and 5 for the last 4 months. In the short 4 months, we’ve seen tremendous improvement in their ability. They practice throughout the day self motivated. Initially, I didn’t have high hopes for my younger son as I didn’t think he would have the patience for it. But I was surprised to see how proud he was when he learned a new song. I think teacher Kelley really sparks their interest and able to motivate them. Their first recital is coming up and we’re super excited to watch. Thank you teacher Kelley!

Kelley is a fantastic teacher! I started learning piano virtually as an adult who was new to piano. He made lessons fun and interesting. I felt as though I progressed quickly to playing songs I highly enjoyed. He is patient, encouraging and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for lessons as a beginner or for those looking for advanced skills.

Kelley is a very patient, professional and understanding teacher. He respects the individuality of his students, and is friendly and approachable. He is not only a teacher to his students, but a mentor and a friend. Kelley's sincere and caring personality is the most important influence in instilling and sustaining my son's passion in music.

Kelley Wong is as talented as he is artistic, which makes him the ideal collaborative pianist. His ability to lead provides a great sense of security and support. Just as importantly, however, Kelley has the knowledge of how and when to follow his collaborator. He is never passive; his playing is always sensitive and articulate. I would highly recommend Kelley to anyone looking for a piano partner.

Kelley is a knowledgeable, skilled, and highly professional teacher. Not only are his lessons thorough, but he ensures that his students achieve their personal best in music, whatever this may be. I felt very prepared going into competitions and examinations, and extremely supported by Kelley. I haven't been able to find the same qualities in a music teacher that I've found in Kelley. Thanks for giving me confidence in playing and continually inspiring me!

This last year, my six-year old daughter, Mia, started taking piano lessons with Kelley. Kelly has been fantastic with her! His knowledge, enthusiasm, gentle coaching, and focus on both learning and having fun are the perfect teacher combination. Mia always looks forward to her next lesson.

A teacher is someone who opens your eyes to materials you've never seen before or allow you to see things in many different ways. Kelley excels in teaching (not only piano, but life lessons as well). The atmosphere I feel when I'm learning from him is comfortable, engaging and humorous as well. In the few years I've spent with him, I l earned a lot. His style of teaching differs from many other teachers because he takes the time to engage in the lesson, and not just power through it. He's very patient and has an extraordinary amount of tolerance. He teaches with a passion that'll motivate you to be a better piano player. His theory lessons are amazing as well (personally I think his theory lessons are a lot more fun than his piano lessons, but that's just personal preferences). Really, I've never had a teacher before like Kelley that can make the time fly by. If you enjoy a teacher who's nice and motivating, then the teacher you're searching for is right here.

Kelley is an excellent teacher who is vested in a child's interest and passion in music. Kelley's lessons are organized, structured but flexible, and he always challenges his students in new ways. He sets weekly goals that are realistic and achievable. In the three years that my son took lessons with him, I saw a significant improvement in his technical skills as well as his growing appreciation for music. Kelley is a truly wonderful musician and teacher.
